Alex Wurz got the honor and the burden of carrying Brad Pitt for a ride on the 13.629 km asphalt of the Circuit de La Sarthe, known around the world simply as Le Mans. Today at 15:00 the famous American actor gives the start to the 84th edition of the race, valid as the third round of the World Endurance Championship 2016, waving the French flag on the grid where the Porsche number 2 starts from pole position (follow the live race streaming ).
The actor has always been fond of engines and big fan of Valentino Rossi, it should be at the 24 Hours not only passion: by the time the director Michael Mann is planning to shoot a film on the epic challenges between Ford and Ferrari of the 60s (provisionally Go Like Hell!) and the return of the Blue Oval in the World Endurance could have given the final push to the project. In the video, produced by our correspondent Pasquale Di Santillo, you can see part of the turn taken by Pitt aboard a two-seat prototype piloted by two-time winner of the race.
